Global Brand Campaign & Vendor GTM
Helped guide the 2025 global brand campaign across paid, organic, and social for a 50–150 vendor partner ecosystem.
Marketing Leader / Musician / Cook
Channel, Partner & Field GTM. Also an average musician and cook.
Senior marketing director with 15 years spanning field marketing, partner/channel strategy, product marketing, and alliance management across cloud, SaaS, and infrastructure companies.
About
Fifteen years in, mostly in channel and partner programs. What kept me around wasn't the job title. It was the actual work of getting two companies with different goals to agree on something and move together.
Somewhere along the way I got fluent in GTM strategy, vendor alliances, and making a spreadsheet sound genuinely exciting to a room full of executives.
Off the clock, I play guitar in a couple of bands, which is either a great creative outlet or proof I never got over wanting to be a rock star. My degrees are in law and international studies, not marketing, which tells you how well anyone plans this stuff out.
Journey
2023 – Present
Vendor GTM Marketing Director → Director of Product Marketing
I help guide go-to-market strategy for a 50–150 vendor partner ecosystem, and worked on the 2025 global brand campaign from message to media to measurement.
2021 – 2023
Global Alliance Marketing Manager
Architected joint go-to-market and field marketing programs with top-tier hardware alliance partners: HPE, Intel, Dell Technologies, IBM, and Lenovo. Owned a global MDF program north of $5M a year.
2011 – 2021
Channel Marketing Manager → Senior Manager, Distribution Sales
A decade building the channel and distribution business from the ground up. Launched the partner program, then led the shift to cloud-based, two-tier distribution with partners like Synnex, Tech Data, and Climb Channel Solutions.
2006 – 2011
Information Projects Manager
Where it started. Rebuilt the organization's website, grew web traffic 105%, and found my accidental on-ramp into marketing.
2003 – 2006
Juris Master, Law & Economics, George Mason University
B.S., International Studies / Law & Diplomacy, Brigham Young University
Neither degree is in marketing. Proof that career paths rarely go in a straight line.
1996 – 1998
Missionary, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
Two years abroad learning a language, a culture, and how to talk to anyone about anything. Turned out to be useful in every job since.
